5. Personal Data

ASPRO ADVERTISING S.R.L. complies with Romanian legislation in force regarding the processing of personal data, namely Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.

ASPRO ADVERTISING S.R.L. processes personal data such as: first and last name, city, email address, telephone number, workplace, profession and position, for the following purposes:

  • promotion of products and services, marketing, advertising and media activities, including sending newsletters containing information in the medical and healthcare field and/or invitations to events organized by ASPRO ADVERTISING S.R.L.;

  • organization of events in the medical and healthcare field.

ASPRO ADVERTISING S.R.L. also processes personal identification data (personal identification number – CNP) exclusively for the purpose of transmitting such data, together with other legally required information, in order to grant continuing medical education credits to healthcare professionals by the competent professional organizations, following participation in events organized by ASPRO ADVERTISING S.R.L.

The personal identification number (CNP) is processed with the consent of healthcare professionals, with the clarification that if they do not consent to the processing of this personal data, continuing medical education credits cannot be granted.

ASPRO ADVERTISING S.R.L. collects personal data:

  • directly, from individuals active in the medical and healthcare field, on the occasion of events organized by the company; the personal identification number is collected directly from the data subjects through event registration forms, for the purpose of granting continuing medical education credits;

  • indirectly, from public sources (e.g., websites of the Romanian College of Dentists, the National Health Insurance House, etc.), insofar as such data are publicly available and used for contacting the data subjects (physicians, nurses, dentists, etc.).

Data collected in connection with participation in events organized by ASPRO ADVERTISING S.R.L. will be disclosed to professional organizations for the purpose of granting continuing medical education / continuing pharmaceutical education credits.

The following data: first name, last name, email address and telephone number allow ASPRO ADVERTISING S.R.L. to keep you informed about company activities and to invite you to events organized by it.

You are hereby informed that you have the right to object to this type of data processing, pursuant to Article 21(2) of the GDPR, which you may exercise expressly by sending an email to aspro@aspro.com.ro, by written notice to the address Str. Invingatorilor no. 29, Bloc Stella, 2nd floor, ap. 23, intercom 23, Sector 3, Bucharest 030922, and/or by email to aspro@aspro.com.ro with the subject line “unsubscribe”.

You also have the right to seek legal remedies before the courts.

You may also request deletion of your email address from our database.

GDPR

We are pleased to inform you that, starting from May 25, 2018, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (“GDPR”) has become applicable.

In the context of participation in a medical congress, for validation of CME credits by the Romanian College of Physicians, mandatory data such as first name, last name, personal identification number (CNP), medical specialty, workplace and professional rank are required. Other data, such as email address and telephone number, are necessary in order to provide information regarding the organization of medical events (e.g., venue, registration deadlines, submission of scientific papers).

Your data will not be transferred to any third party and will be used solely for the purpose for which they were provided.

If you choose to pay by card for any service, please note that electronic payment instruments are secure, that we do not store card or banking details, and that payments are made exclusively through secure interfaces belonging to banking institutions.
